Spatial
Diagram

The spatial diagram illustrates a journey inspired by the life cycle of a rose, symbolizing human growth, emotions, and memories.

Through a series of immersive environments, visitors experience different stages of life through scent, light, texture, and sensory interactions. Each space represents a moment of transformation, connecting personal memories with the process of growth and self-discovery.

Rose Petal  Maze

Transitioning through flower petal-like curtains to a rose sanctuary, individuals hold a seed and navigate thorny roses, symbolizing nurturing seeds amidst challenges.

Hallway

Inspired by traditional Korean Hanok architecture, the hallway connects the reception to private dining rooms through warm wooden structures, translucent Hanji panels, and garden views.
Filtered natural light creates a balance between openness and privacy, transforming the hallway into a peaceful spatial experience.

Cultural Performance

Next is Craft, which focuses on the patience and precision behind making a gat. I want craftsmanship to be part of the story, not just background information.

Garden & Tea Experience

Inspired by the relationship between traditional Korean architecture and nature, a small interior garden offers a quiet moment within the dining journey. The garden creates an opportunity to pause, enjoy tea, and observe the changing relationship between natural light, greenery, and architectural surfaces.

Private Dining

The private dining rooms balance intimacy with a connection to nature. Changho-inspired partitions, warm materials, and carefully framed garden views create an atmosphere where guests can gather and share meaningful moments.

Section Study

The sectional views illustrate how the reception, performance area, garden, and private dining rooms connect through layered architecture, natural light, and a balance between openness and privacy.
